there are many options, all of which are rather obvious. You can buy it right off (light side), you can take it from her, sell it and not give her the money (for the dark side!), take it and sell it, then give her the money (light side). You can buy it if you want (then sell it off in the Hunter's Lodge), or persuade her to give it to you, promising that you'll sell it and give her the money. She'll offer to sell it to you for 500 Credits. It's all she has left and she needs the Credits badly. She has something of her deceased husband's, a Wraid Plate, that she sees as worth 500 Credits. She'll cut to the chase and ask you to help her out. There's a woman outside of the Hunting Lodge that seems to be in need of a little help. I waited until now to do it (after the Sand People incident), but you can do it earlier if you so desire.
